Alphabet Book, I. K. Giannelis, G. Sakkas. School Books Publishing Organisation

It is the longest-lived school book in Greek education (1955-1974), edited by I.K. Gianelis and G. Sakkas and illustrated by Costas Grammatopoulos. It was used in the First grade of Elementary school for learning the Greek language. Mimis, Anna, Elli and Lola were the four protagonists of the school book. The themes of the book were based on the national, religious, social, family and daily life, and aimed to educate the children and capture the childhood of an era.
