Homer’s Odyssey, A. Eftaliotis (translation). In Athens: Hestia Bookstore, 1933

The book Homer’s Odyssey, translated into verse in the modern Greek language by Argyris Eftaliotis, was used in Elementary school as a school textbook in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades of Secondary school for the Ancient Greek’s lesson. According to the note on the inside cover of the book, it was the “only approved for the five years period 1932-1937” edition. It encompassed the Odyssey’s  rhapsodies, a translation, interpretive and analytical comments, as well as grammatical remarks.
